We like to champion seasonal weddings so it’s been fun looking back through our archives for some spectacular seasonal weddings to share. There are so many we could have chosen, but we’ve chosen six of our favourites to feature here. You’ll notice we haven’t featured any winter weddings in this post as we haven’t really featured any yet.

Our Favourite Spring Weddings
An English Spring Wedding on a Dairy Farm
Caroline and Gareth’s spring wedding on their farm holds a soft spot for me because they got married at the end of May, just like I did. This time of year is one of my favourites, and their wedding captures spring in the countryside, with cow parsley and a lovely palette of pastels pinks and purples.
They used seasonal flowers for the bouquets, aisle decorations, and I love the little pots of cowslips displaying the table names – all named after cows as they live on a working dairy farm. The whole feel of their wedding is so reflective of an English spring, making it my favourite spring wedding that we’ve featured.

A Modern Spring Woodland Wedding
From a spring wedding full of pastel shades, to one full of lush greens, soft whites and touches of gold. Chloe and Sam’s modern spring woodland wedding is bursting with inspiration for couples. It’s rustic in a contemporary way, full off help from family and friends, and effortlessly stylish.
We love the gold dipped feathers hung from the rustic barn venue. Gold candles nestled amongst the foliage winding its way down the bare wood reception tables. Blousy white peonies set against frothy green ferns. A truly joyous fresh feeling wedding.

Our Favourite Summer Weddings
A Balmy Summer Farm Wedding on the Welsh Coast
There were so many beautiful summer weddings to choose from that we’ve featured on the blog. Choosing just one to share was really difficult, but going through the images from Nik and Chris’ Welsh farm wedding reminded me why I chose theirs. Everything about their wedding has a chilled out summer vibe. It’s down-to-earth and totally the kind of summer wedding I’d love to go to.
Having met Nik and Chris a few times, I can say that their wedding is a true reflection of them, and I think that comes through in the photographs. They had an outdoor ceremony, champagne and a paddle at the beach, and a chilled out evening party at their home. Plus there are fab little details – from bundles of recycled wool blankets to tin cans of flowers – and a few farm animals for fun.

A Colourful Festival Wedding on the Cornish Coast
Another of our favourite summer weddings was Emma and Chris’ relaxed festival wedding. The ceremony was held in an outdoor ampitheatre beneath blue skies. The bride wore a short wedding dress and fun emerald green shoes. The flowers were seasonal grown blooms, with big blousy peonies and poppies, alongside delicate grasses.
In true British wedding style, there was a pale yellow VW campervan, lots of bunting, and a cake competition complete with GBBO judges masks. This wedding just looked like so much fun!

Our Favourite Autumn Weddings
A Simple Autumn Wedding from Lithuania
I love this autumn wedding from Lithuania for it’s simplicity and how the couple, Lina and Vygantas, embraced the season in a myriad of ways. Lina wore a knee-length wedding dress made from fine wool, which she paired with white tights and brown lace-up shoes. They had a candlelit wedding ceremony, and the bouquet and buttonholes feature crab apples, hawthorn berries and rosehips.
Photographer Svetlana Batura told us: “Lina and Vygantas wanted their wedding to be natural and close to the seasons – a November mood. Apples in the bouquet…warm and soft handmade dress…last leaves caught on the heel…and a romantic garden of apple trees…” An exquisite autumn wedding in my opinion.

A Rustic Autumn Barn Wedding
Tim and Sarah’s autumn barn wedding was held on a stunning rustic Kent farm. They decorated with gold pumpkins and twinkly lights to create the perfect autumn atmosphere.
The seasonal shades of brown were reflected in the warm barn beams and Tim’s tweed suit. These were then contrasted with the deep jewel colours of Sarah’s flowers, especially those striking dahlia wrist corsages.
Even the food reflected the season, with tiny skewered apples in the drinks and bowls of warm gooey cheese to dip chunks of bread into. Yum!
